Dumb Stuff it’s fun to find out Macy’s has sponsored the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade since 1924. Macy’s was founded by Rowland Hussey Macy in 1858 (ish) The original and famed Macy’s store on Broadway was built in 1901 by architects De Lemos & Cordes. The store still has several wooden escalators in operation. |
